Mama Amor is managed by the women's collective Nuevo Amanecer. The collective supports women from the community with professional activity.
The whole process is done by hand. The tending of the trees, the harvest, the fermentation is done by leaving the seeds in a basket with banana leafs for 5 days, roasted on fire and grinded the old fashioned way. The amount of love that is poured into this Cacao is something you feel when you sit with this gentle plant medicine.
The story goes that Cacao crawled out of the Amazon to harmonize us. It might just be the most perfect gift, for yourself or others.
